Twenty-five years ago, Richard started at ROAD & TRACK as an Assistant Art Director. He graduated with a degree in Art/Communications from San Diego State University. In his spare time he restores cars, one being a 1965 Jaguar E-type that he currently owns and completely restored 15 years ago.

Engineering Editor
Dennis received his B.S., M.A and Ph.D. in Mathematics. As Engineering Editor, with 27 years experience at the magazine, he brings extreme knowledge of the field to ROAD & TRACK. Dennis has taught mathematics and did ecological modeling at the College of the Virgin Islands, St.Thomas.

At ROAD & TRACK for the past 30 years, Ellida, a graduate of Cal State Fullerton, began her career as a newspaper reporter. She first worked for ROAD & TRACK as a secretary in the early 60’s when the staff numbered 3 editors.

Andy is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Journalism, and has been with ROAD & TRACK since 1987. His love of cars and racing dates back to a childhood spent competing in bicycle motocross and attending races at tracks such as Riverside and Ascot Park.

Better known as “Bert” by those that know him, Swift has been a part of the ROAD & TRACK squad for more than 8 years. Originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, Bert carries a B.S. degree in Graphic Design from the University of Bridgeport, and studied abroad at the College of Art and Design in Limerick, Ireland.
