RANDY STEELE

VICE PRESIDENT/EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Randy Steele has been editor-in-chief of Boating magazine since the fall of 1997. Prior to that, Steele served as art director of Boating magazine since 1988. He joined the staff of Flying magazine, then a Ziff-Davis publication, in 1977 and worked there as a writer, editor, designer, and photographer until he moved to Boating. Previous to his magazine experience, Steele had been editor-in-chief of a small weekly newspaper, The Abington Journal, in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

WADE LUCE

VICE PRESIDENT/PUBLISHER

Wade Luce is VP/Publisher of Boating Magazine since April 2000. Previously, Luce service as Boating's advertising director from 1998 to 2000. He joined Hachette in 1994 as western advertising manager. Prior to joining Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., Luce was account supervisor at Bear Advertising in Los Angeles from 1991 to 1994. He began his career in 1987 as advertising manager for Seattle based ICOM Communications. Luce is a graduate of the Edward R. Murrow School of Journalism at Washington State University.
