Job Description:
The ideal candidate will increase uptake of HFM content and other digital assets via blogs, social networks, and widget development that would direct traffic back to our sites. Develop a social media presence through Facebook, MySpace, etc. to position our brands to capture/increase our targeted audience. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Research and develop strategies to build relationships with users of relevant social media communities, networks, blogs, and other websites.
· Propel HFM content to travel further and be more easily connected with online communities via: Wikis, social book marking sites, and RSS.
· Develop user profiles, build networks, publish original content, monitor online discussions, blogs, and user-generated content on these sites.
· Research and pursue other online viral initiatives to drive traffic back to HFM websites.
· Recruit and develop relationships with members from different social communities.
· Provide competitive intelligence to Marketing department of competitors’ activities.
Requirements:
· More than 2 years of digital marketing experience.
· Web 2.0 knowledge and interests.
· Active social networking site user.
· Growth-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
· Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.
