Job Description: The Director of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will be the champion to develope best in breed SEO strategy for all HFM web properties and executing those plans to accelerate natural search rankings and increase search engine traffic. This candidate will have an active role in working with Editorial, Technology, Product Development, etc. to define, execute SEO best practices and standard operation procedures. This person will need to effectively communicate the importance and benefits of SEO to different departments, across different brands, and different levels of management. Key Responsibilities: · Responsible for building and implementing a successful SEO program to increase search engine traffic. · Work across all departments: Editorial, Technology, Management, Brands, etc. to implement best practiced SEO tactics and help build search engine friendly websites. o On-page optimization o Link building campaigns, and other off-page optimization tactics o Cross Departmental SEO education o Site architecture · Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and executing SEO strategies to meet aggressive organizational goals. o Setting weekly, monthly and annual goals and developing strategies to meet these goals. · Foster and champion SEO as part of the corporate culture. · Help devise strategic partnership programs from relevant websites, vendors, etc. · Manage existing SEO team.
