Lagardère's media activities are now divided into four operating divisions: Lagardère Publishing (books), Lagardère Services (distribution/retail of press titles and cultural products), Lagardère Active (magazines, audiovisual, digital, advertising, interactive agency) and Lagardère Sports (broadcasting and marketing rights of sports events).
In 2006, the Lagardère Group increased its sales to € 13,999M making € 291M of net income. The Group also has a strategic holding (12,44%) in the EADS Group. The Group is composed of 50,000 men and women operating worldwide.

Through the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation. Lagardère is actively involved in many efforts, from sports promotions to innovative projects, which encourage equal access to a diverse range of learning and cultural programs.
