Kliger stated: “The media industry has gone through many changes in recent years, and we are continually reviewing our own business looking for new ways to find greater efficiencies. We have made a number of organizational changes at HFM U.S. which have made our structure better aligned with our current workflow, and the new position of Chief Procurement Officer will have authority across the company and will centralize certain responsibilities, like vendor management, which have been handled in each department. I have known him for years: recently when he was CFO at our sister company Cellfish and earlier when he was Vice President/General Manager at Gruner+Jahr Publishing. His experience and broad knowledge of our business will make him a strong addition to our executive team. We look forward to having him on board.”
Theimann is a senior media executive with 14 years experience in general management, operations and business development, as well as in strategic planning. In 2005, he joined Cellfish Media, the international mobile entertainment division of Lagardère Active, the parent company of HFM U.S., and has been responsible for managing the U.S. division’s finances, legal affairs and investor relations.
