Becomes Official Motor Oil Supplier, Event Sponsor of Exotic Sports Car Tour
Premium lubricant Castrol SYNTEC has joined the Car and Driver/Road & Track LIVE exotic cars driving series as a major sponsor, it was announced today. Principal to the LIVE program are renowned Car and Driver and Road & Track magazines, automotive flagships of Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S.
In conjunction with Indiana-based Executive Drive, Inc., an established and leading driving events company, Car and Driver and Road & Track recently launched the Car and Driver/Road & Track LIVE series, a nationally touring sports car driving program that allows consumers the opportunity to drive a fleet of exotic sports cars on either public roads or closed-course race tracks. The Car and Driver/Road & Track LIVE series is scheduled to visit 15 major U.S. markets in 2008 including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, San Francisco and Houston, among others.
As part of its sponsorship, Castrol SYNTEC becomes the exclusive motor oil supplier for the nationally touring LIVE series. Effective immediately, the tour’s fleet of multi-manufacturer exotic sports cars will utilize premium Castrol SYNTEC motor oil. Castrol SYNTEC branding will be highly visible at LIVE events and included among the tour’s marketing and promotional materials.

In further support of the LIVE program, Castrol SYNTEC will make a magazine subscription offer available to consumers who purchase a Castrol SYNTEC oil change at participating retailer accounts (e.g., Lube Express, etc.) in the form of a one year subscription to either Car and Driver magazine or Road & Track magazine with the purchase of a Castrol SYNTEC oil change.
